Today’s DFW Forecast

North Texas is heading into another dangerously hot afternoon across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Skies will be partly sunny, with south winds around 10 mph and highs reaching the upper 90s. Humidity will push peak heat index values to 105 to 108 degrees, and a Heat Advisory remains in effect through 8 PM.

Tonight stays warm and humid under partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will only fall into the upper 70s to around 80, offering little overnight relief.

Saturday brings more sunshine and even higher temperatures, near 100 degrees across DFW. Heat index values will again climb into the 105 to 108 range during the afternoon. No rain is expected, and the extended outlook remains dry and increasingly hot, with highs near or above 100 through next week and afternoon feels-like temperatures approaching 110.

Limit strenuous outdoor activity during the hottest part of the day, drink plenty of water, and check on vulnerable neighbors and pets.
