Tonight will stay mostly clear, warm, and humid across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Temperatures will only fall into the upper 70s, offering little relief after another intense July day.
Friday brings mostly sunny skies and continued dangerous heat. Afternoon highs will reach the mid to upper 90s, while humidity pushes the heat index to 105 to 107 degrees. A Heat Advisory remains in effect for much of DFW through 8 PM Friday. There is no rain or storm chance in the local forecast.
The weekend stays dry and very hot, with upper 90s Saturday and near 100 Sunday. The heat builds even further next week, with widespread highs near or above 100 degrees Monday through Wednesday. Afternoon feels-like temperatures may again approach 110 degrees, while overnight lows remain near 80.
Limit strenuous outdoor activity during the hottest part of the afternoon, drink plenty of water, and check on vulnerable neighbors and pets.
