Tonight’s DFW Forecast

Quiet weather is in place tonight across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex with mostly clear skies and warm, muggy lows in the upper 70s.

Tomorrow will bring a noticeable change. We’ll start with some sunshine, but scattered showers and thunderstorms will increase through the day, especially from late morning into the afternoon and continuing Sunday night. Highs should reach the lower 90s before some areas cool back into the 80s as rain moves in. A few storms could produce heavy downpours, and rain chances stay elevated into Monday.

Monday looks cooler and wetter with periods of showers and a few thunderstorms, especially in the morning. Afternoon highs will only reach the lower 80s, a nice break from the recent heat. By Tuesday, rain chances begin to fade and temperatures recover into the upper 80s.

The middle of next week turns hotter again with highs back in the 90s Wednesday and Thursday, and heat index values near 105 at times. Another round of scattered storms may return late Thursday into Juneteenth.

If you have outdoor plans Sunday or Monday, keep an eye on the radar for passing storms and pockets of heavy rain.
