Tonight’s DFW Forecast

A warm and muggy night is ahead for the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, with lows only falling into the upper 70s. Most areas stay dry, but a few late-night showers or thunderstorms may develop, especially north of DFW toward Denton and Collin counties.

Tomorrow will bring another humid day with a mix of clouds and sun. Highs should reach the lower to mid 90s, and scattered showers or thunderstorms will remain possible through the morning and into the afternoon. Coverage still looks spotty, so not everyone gets rain, but a brief downpour and lightning will be possible where storms pop up.

Saturday turns hotter and mainly dry, with afternoon temperatures climbing back into the mid to upper 90s. Rain chances increase more noticeably late Saturday night, then Sunday into Monday looks like the wetter stretch with more widespread showers and thunderstorms. That period should bring a break from the heat, with highs dropping into the 80s by Monday before warmer weather returns by midweek.

Sunday into Monday could bring locally heavy rain, frequent lightning, and some travel slowdowns.
