Today’s DFW Forecast

A summer feel is in place across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex today, with mostly sunny skies and afternoon highs climbing into the lower to middle 90s. Winds stay light out of the south, so it’ll be a hot and fairly quiet day overall. Air quality may be an issue again, with an Ozone Action Day in effect.

Tonight looks calm and warm with mostly clear skies and lows settling into the lower to middle 70s.

Tomorrow stays warm, but we’ll start to see a small change. Highs reach the lower 90s, and while much of the day will stay dry, a few isolated showers or thunderstorms could pop up during the afternoon, with a slightly better chance Tuesday evening into the night. Not everyone will see rain, but a few neighborhoods could catch a brief downpour and lightning.

Beyond that, temperatures ease back a bit by midweek, with more scattered rain chances heading into the second half of the week.

If you have outdoor plans Tuesday evening, keep an eye on the sky for a few spotty storms.
