Today’s DFW Forecast

A warm and quiet stretch continues across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex today. Expect plenty of sunshine with afternoon highs in the lower 90s, along with a light southwest breeze. Air quality may be an issue again today, so sensitive groups may want to limit extended time outdoors during the hottest part of the afternoon.

Tonight stays mild with increasing clouds and lows settling into the mid 70s. Winds will remain light out of the south, and rain is not expected.

Tomorrow looks very similar, with a mix of sun and clouds and highs back in the lower to middle 90s. South winds will pick up a bit during the day, but overall it’s another quiet late-May day across North Texas.

Looking ahead, the hotter weather peaks Sunday into Monday with highs reaching the mid 90s in some spots. Small rain chances return late Monday night, with scattered showers and thunderstorms becoming a little more likely Tuesday through Wednesday as temperatures ease back slightly.
