A mainly quiet and warm forecast is in place for the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex today. Expect plenty of sunshine with afternoon highs climbing into the upper 80s, with a few mid 80s north and east of Dallas. There is a very small chance for an isolated shower or thunderstorm late this afternoon, but most neighborhoods will stay dry.
Tonight, any stray evening shower or storm will fade quickly, leaving partly cloudy to mostly clear skies overnight. Lows will settle near 70 to the lower 70s, so it will stay mild.
Tomorrow looks even warmer with mostly sunny skies and highs reaching around 90 to the lower 90s. Rain chances remain very low, and the overall pattern stays quiet heading into the start of the weekend, with more summer-like warmth building in.
One thing to keep in mind today: air quality may be a concern across the Metroplex with an Ozone Action Day in effect, especially for sensitive groups spending extended time outside.
