Tonight looks quiet for most of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, with warm and muggy conditions settling in under mostly cloudy skies. A stray evening shower or storm can’t be ruled out, but most neighborhoods stay dry. Overnight lows will only fall into the low to mid 70s, with a steady south breeze.
Monday stays very warm and humid, with a mix of clouds and some afternoon sun. Highs will push the upper 80s to near 90, and gusty south winds will make it feel a little more summer-like. Most of the day should be dry.
The forecast turns much wetter starting Tuesday. Scattered showers and thunderstorms may begin as early as Tuesday morning, but the better coverage looks to develop through the afternoon and continue Tuesday night. Rain chances remain elevated through Wednesday, Thursday, and into Friday, while temperatures trend cooler, dropping from the upper 80s early in the week to the upper 70s and lower 80s later on.
If you have outdoor plans from Tuesday through Friday, keep a close eye on the forecast for periods of rain, occasional thunderstorms, and pockets of heavier downpours.
