A warm, breezy evening is ahead for the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Skies start mostly clear tonight, then clouds increase overnight with lows settling into the lower 70s. South winds will stay up, so it won’t cool off much.
Tomorrow looks mostly cloudy early, then partly sunny by afternoon. Most of the day stays dry, but a stray shower or thunderstorm can’t be ruled out late in the day. Highs will reach the upper 80s, and south winds will pick up again with gusts near 30 mph.
Monday stays warm, humid, and breezy with only isolated afternoon storm chances. The more active pattern arrives Tuesday and especially Wednesday into Thursday, when scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms become more likely across North Texas. That stretch also brings the best chance for heavier rainfall and a noticeable cooldown, with highs falling from the upper 80s early in the week to the upper 70s and lower 80s by mid to late week.
If you have outdoor plans after Tuesday, keep a close eye on the forecast for periods of rain, thunderstorms, and locally heavy downpours.
