North Texas stays pretty quiet tonight across Dallas-Fort Worth. Expect a warm and somewhat muggy night with a mix of clouds, south winds around 10 to 15 mph, and lows settling in the lower 70s.
Tomorrow looks very similar to today, with a good deal of sunshine, breezy south winds by afternoon, and highs right around 90. Most of the Metroplex stays dry through Saturday, so it’s another summer-like day with no major problems expected.
Sunday remains warm, breezy, and a little more humid, with highs close to 90 again. Rain chances begin to creep up late Sunday night in a few spots, but the better opportunity for scattered showers and thunderstorms arrives Monday afternoon and evening. From Tuesday through Thursday, the pattern turns more active with several rounds of rain and storms, cooler temperatures in the 80s, and a few locally heavy downpours possible as the week goes on.
Keep an eye on the midweek forecast, especially if you have outdoor plans, since periods of heavy rain and lightning could create brief travel issues.
