Today’s DFW Forecast

A warm and quiet day is ahead for the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Expect plenty of sunshine this afternoon with highs climbing into the lower 90s, and a steady south wind increasing to around 10 to 15 mph. Air quality may be a concern today as ozone levels run high, especially for anyone sensitive to pollution.

Tonight stays mild and dry with just a few passing clouds. Temperatures will only fall back to around 70, with a light south breeze continuing overnight.

Tomorrow looks a little more unsettled, but not everyone will see rain. We’ll start with a mix of sun and clouds, then turn breezy during the afternoon with south winds gusting up to 30 mph. Highs will stay near 90. A stray shower or thunderstorm may pop up late in the day, mainly on the western and northern sides of the Metroplex, but most spots should remain dry until tomorrow night.

The better chance for more widespread showers and thunderstorms holds off until early next week, with rain chances increasing Monday and especially Tuesday.
