Today’s DFW Forecast

A much cooler day is ahead for the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Expect mostly cloudy skies with just a small chance for a passing shower or thunderstorm, mainly early, and afternoon highs only around 70 degrees. North winds will stay light, but the bigger story is the noticeable break from the recent warmth.

Tonight stays quiet and cool with plenty of clouds hanging around. Lows will drop into the low to mid 50s across most of North Texas, with a few upper 40s possible in the northern suburbs.

Tomorrow remains on the cool side for May with mostly cloudy skies early, then a few more breaks later in the day. Highs should recover only into the lower to mid 70s, so it will still feel pretty mild for this time of year.

Looking ahead, warmer weather returns Friday into the weekend with highs back into the 80s. Rain chances stay low through Saturday, then a few spotty thunderstorms may develop again later this weekend.
