Today’s DFW Forecast

It’s a quiet but breezy start to the week across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Today will bring plenty of sunshine with afternoon highs mainly in the lower to mid 80s. South winds will pick up through the day, gusting as high as 30 mph at times, so it’ll feel a bit blustery by late afternoon.

Tonight stays mild and a little more humid, with increasing clouds and lows near 70. Winds will remain out of the south, so temperatures won’t fall much.

Tomorrow turns warmer and more unsettled. Expect mostly cloudy skies for much of the day with highs climbing into the upper 80s to lower 90s. A few spotty showers or thunderstorms could develop during the afternoon, but most areas should stay dry through daylight hours. Better rain chances arrive Tuesday evening into Wednesday, and that’s when we’ll watch for scattered thunderstorms and a noticeable cool-down behind the front. Highs fall back into the low 80s Wednesday and the low 70s by Thursday.

Main impacts: gusty south winds today, then a low storm chance tomorrow afternoon with better rain chances arriving tomorrow night into Wednesday.
