Today’s DFW Forecast

A cool, gray, and damp Friday is in store across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Showers will be on and off through the day, with the steadiest rain tending to develop into the afternoon. Temperatures will struggle, topping out only in the upper 50s to around 60, with a light northeast breeze keeping things feeling even cooler.

Tonight, rain chances begin to taper off during the evening, and skies should gradually clear after midnight. Overnight lows will fall into the upper 40s to near 50, so it’ll be a chilly night by early May standards.

Tomorrow looks much better. Sunshine returns Saturday with a nice rebound in temperatures, climbing into the lower 70s by afternoon. Winds will stay light out of the north, making for a pleasant and much drier finish to the weekend’s first half.

Beyond that, expect a steady warming trend with upper 70s Sunday, low 80s Monday, and upper 80s by Tuesday.

Plan on wet roads and a cool, raw feel today, especially for the afternoon commute.
