Today’s DFW Forecast

A warm and breezy day is ahead across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. We’ll start with quite a bit of cloud cover this morning, but skies should gradually clear through the day, allowing temperatures to climb into the upper 80s to lower 90s by afternoon. Most of the Metroplex stays dry today, although a brief isolated shower or thunderstorm can’t be ruled out in a few spots east and south of Dallas.

Tonight stays mild and a little muggy with lows around 70 to the lower 70s. Skies will be mostly clear early, then clouds begin to increase again overnight.

Tomorrow brings the better chance for rain and storms. Scattered showers may develop in the morning, with more thunderstorms possible during the afternoon and into Tuesday night. Highs will stay a bit lower, mainly in the mid to upper 80s, but humidity will be up. A few storms could turn strong to severe, especially across parts of the eastern and northeastern Metroplex.

If you have outdoor plans Tuesday, keep a close eye on the forecast for changing weather and possible strong storms.
