Clouds will thicken across the Dallas-Fort Worth area tonight, but the evening stays quiet overall. Temperatures will be mild with lows settling into the mid 60s, and a light south breeze will continue overnight.
Tomorrow starts mostly cloudy, then turns brighter through the afternoon with a warm-up into the lower 80s. South winds will pick up and become a little breezy at times, especially later in the day. Most of the Metroplex should stay dry Thursday, although a stray shower or storm can’t be ruled out north and northeast of DFW by Thursday night.
Looking ahead, Friday brings a bigger jump in temperatures with highs pushing the mid to upper 80s. A few spotty afternoon or evening thunderstorms are possible, but coverage still looks limited. The weekend stays warm to almost hot with upper 80s to near 90, along with small storm chances mainly during the evening and overnight hours. Early next week stays warm, then mornings turn a bit cooler by Monday night and Tuesday.
