A chilly, quiet night is settling in across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Any leftover evening sprinkles or a stray thunderstorm will fade quickly, and skies will gradually clear overnight. Lows will drop into the low to mid 40s by morning, so it’ll feel much different than recent nights.
Sunday looks great. Expect sunshine, light winds, and a nice rebound in temperatures with afternoon highs returning to the low 70s. Sunday night stays cool, with lows near 50, then Monday brings more clouds and a milder afternoon in the low to mid 70s.
Our next rain chance arrives late Monday night into Tuesday morning as scattered showers and a few thunderstorms move back in. Right now, the better setup for steadier rain and a few heavier downpours appears to stay mainly south and east of the Metroplex, so severe weather concerns look limited here. After that, temperatures warm steadily through mid to late week, climbing into the upper 70s Wednesday, lower 80s Thursday, and mid 80s by Friday with only isolated storm chances.
