Warm and breezy weather sticks around across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex today. We’ll start with plenty of clouds this morning, but expect at least a little sunshine to break through later on. Highs will climb into the low to mid 80s, with south winds increasing through the afternoon and turning gusty at times.
Tonight, rain chances return after midnight as a cold front approaches. Showers are likely across DFW with a few thunderstorms mixed in by the pre-dawn hours. It won’t be an all-night washout for everyone, but roads could turn wet late, and temperatures will drop back into the 50s by morning.
Tomorrow brings a big change. Expect scattered showers and a few thunderstorms, especially during the morning, followed by a sharp cool-down through the day. Highs may struggle to get out of the low to mid 60s, with a north wind making it feel even cooler and less humid by afternoon.
Plan for a warm, breezy Friday, then keep the umbrella handy late tonight into Saturday morning as rain and a few storms move through.
