Tonight’s DFW Forecast

Quiet weather continues tonight across Dallas-Fort Worth. Skies will turn mostly clear overnight with a mild south breeze, and temperatures will only fall into the upper 60s.

Friday stays warm and a bit breezy with a mix of clouds and sun. Highs will reach the lower to middle 80s, and south winds will pick up through the afternoon with a few gusts near 30 mph. Most of the day looks dry, but rain chances begin to increase Friday night as a front approaches. Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms are expected to develop late Friday night and continue into Saturday.

Saturday will feel dramatically different, with temperatures holding in the mid 60s and a cooler north wind settling in. Periods of rain and a few storms are possible through at least part of the day before drying begins Saturday night. Sunday looks much better with sunshine and highs in the low 70s.

Early next week stays fairly quiet, but a few spotty showers could return Monday into Tuesday, followed by a warming trend back to around 80 by Wednesday.

Plan for wet roads late Friday night into Saturday, along with a sharp cool-down heading into the weekend.
