A quiet evening is ahead for most of Dallas-Fort Worth, with only a small chance of an isolated shower or thunderstorm early tonight. Otherwise, expect partly cloudy skies and mild overnight temperatures settling into the low to mid 60s.
Saturday stays warm and a bit more humid, with clouds early giving way to some afternoon sunshine. Most of the Metroplex will stay dry, but a stray afternoon storm can’t be ruled out. Highs will climb back into the lower 80s with a light southeast breeze.
Rain chances increase noticeably Saturday night, especially late, as scattered showers and a few thunderstorms move in. Sunday looks like the wettest day of the stretch, with periods of rain and thunderstorms becoming more widespread through the afternoon. Highs will be a little cooler, mainly in the upper 70s.
Early next week won’t be a washout, but the pattern stays unsettled with occasional storm chances Tuesday through Thursday and highs generally holding in the low 80s.
Plan for the best outdoor weather Saturday. Sunday could bring pockets of heavy rain and lightning, so keep an eye on the forecast.
