Today’s DFW Forecast

North Texas gets another quiet and pleasant day across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Expect plenty of sunshine from start to finish with afternoon highs in the upper 70s. Winds stay light out of the south to southeast, so overall it’s a very comfortable spring day.

Tonight stays clear and calm with temperatures slipping back into the upper 50s by early Thursday morning. It’ll be a mild night with no weather concerns.

Tomorrow looks a touch warmer with mostly sunny skies and highs climbing into the lower 80s. The day should stay dry for most of DFW, although clouds will begin to increase a bit by tomorrow night as a more unsettled pattern starts to develop heading into the end of the week.

The next better chance for showers and a few thunderstorms holds off until Friday afternoon, with rain chances increasing more noticeably over the weekend. Sunday currently looks like the wettest day, with more widespread showers and thunderstorms and some locally heavy rain possible.

Plan on quiet weather through Thursday, then keep an eye on the weekend as rain chances build and roads could turn wet at times.
