Tonight’s DFW Forecast

A quiet and comfortable night is ahead across Dallas-Fort Worth. Skies will stay mostly clear early, then turn partly cloudy late, with lows settling near 50 degrees by morning.

Tomorrow looks pleasant again, with a mix of sun and clouds and afternoon highs in the lower 70s. Winds stay light out of the southeast, so overall it’s another calm spring day. Tuesday night becomes a bit cloudier, but rain should still hold off for the Metroplex.

The middle of the week stays mild and gradually warmer. Highs climb into the upper 70s by Wednesday and Thursday, with a decent amount of dry time continuing. By Friday, a few spotty showers or storms could begin to develop, but coverage still looks limited.

The better chance for rain arrives over the weekend, especially Saturday night into Sunday, when showers and thunderstorms become more likely across North Texas. Sunday currently looks like the wettest day, and some heavier downpours may be possible if storms organize.

Plan on a wetter finish to the weekend, with the best chance for travel-impacting rain coming late Saturday night and Sunday.
