A quiet and mild night is ahead across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Skies stay mostly clear, and temperatures will only fall into the lower 60s with a light south breeze.
Tomorrow looks even warmer, with a mix of sun and a few passing clouds. Afternoon highs will reach the mid 80s, and south winds will pick up a bit, especially later in the day. Tuesday stays warm as well, with highs again in the mid 80s and a breezy south wind.
Rain chances begin to creep in late Tuesday night, but the better opportunity for scattered showers and thunderstorms arrives Wednesday and especially Wednesday night into Thursday. That looks like the wettest stretch of the week, with a few heavier downpours possible in parts of North Texas. Right now, the severe storm threat appears limited, but we’ll keep watching for any stronger storms as moisture increases. After that, temperatures ease back closer to 80 on Thursday, then another round of unsettled weather may return Friday night into Saturday.
The main weather impact will be midweek rain and thunderstorms, with some locally heavy rainfall possible Wednesday night.
