Today’s DFW Forecast

A big change is rolling into the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex today. We’ll start with some sunshine this morning, but clouds will increase through the day as a cold front pushes through. Highs will briefly reach the lower 70s, then temperatures will slide through the afternoon into the 60s with a brisk north wind gusting up to around 30 mph. A few spotty showers may develop later today, but most locations will stay dry.

Tonight stays mostly cloudy and noticeably cooler, with a few light showers possible during the evening. Overnight lows will settle into the lower 50s, and the northeast breeze will keep it feeling a little chillier.

Tomorrow will be a cool day by late March standards. Expect a lot of clouds early, then some gradual clearing later in the day. Afternoon highs will only reach the lower 60s.

The good news is this cool snap won’t last long. Warmer weather returns Sunday, with highs back in the low 80s, and even warmer air builds in early next week.
