A Freeze Warning is in effect from 3 AM to 9 AM Tuesday for the entire Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Skies will clear out overnight and temperatures will tumble into the lower 30s by daybreak, with a few upper 20s in outlying and rural spots. Light winds will shift to the south after midnight, but not before we get a hard, late-season chill. Be sure to protect sensitive plants and check on pets before heading to bed.
Tomorrow turns the page quickly. Sunshine returns and temperatures rebound nicely into the mid 60s by afternoon, with a modest south breeze developing. It will feel much more comfortable compared to today’s sharp cool-down.
The warming trend continues through midweek. Highs climb into the upper 70s Wednesday, upper 80s Thursday, and we’re talking lower to mid 90s by Friday and through the weekend with plenty of sunshine. Nights also moderate into the 50s and 60s.
Prepare for a freezing start Tuesday morning, then get ready for an early taste of summer by the weekend.
