From William Cole: A Flood Watch has been issued for the following counties in North Texas until 7:00 PM Sunday. Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Erath, Fannin, Grayson, Hamilton, Hood, Jack, Montague, Palo Pinto, Parker, Somervell, Stephens, Tarrant, Wise & Young.

WHAT Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. WHERE A portion of north central Texas, including the following counties, Collin, Comanche, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Eastland, Erath, Fannin, Grayson, Hamilton, Hood, Jack, Lampasas, Mills, Montague, Palo Pinto, Parker, Somervell, Stephens, Tarrant, Wise and Young. WHEN From Saturday afternoon through Sunday evening. IMPACTS Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor-drainage and urban areas. ADDITIONAL DETAILS – Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches, with isolated higher amounts up to 4 inches.
