Today’s DFW Forecast

A pleasant spring day is ahead for the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Expect mostly sunny skies with a light south wind and afternoon highs near 80 degrees, with a few upper 70s across some western and northern spots. It’ll be a quiet day overall with no major weather concerns.

Tonight stays mild with partly cloudy skies and lows settling into the lower to middle 60s. Winds remain light out of the south to southeast, so it won’t cool off much by early morning.

Tomorrow starts with more cloud cover, then we’ll mix in some sunshine during the afternoon. A few scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms may pop up later in the day, but coverage still looks fairly limited for most of the Metroplex. Highs will climb back to around 80 to the lower 80s.

Looking ahead, rain chances gradually increase this weekend, especially from Saturday night into Sunday, when more widespread showers and thunderstorms appear likely across North Texas.

If you have outdoor plans this weekend, keep an eye on the forecast since wetter weather is expected to build in after a mainly dry finish to the workweek.
