A quiet and cool night is ahead for the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Skies will be partly cloudy, and temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 40s by early Monday morning, so it’ll feel a little crisp if you’re out late.
Tomorrow looks great. Expect plenty of sunshine with light easterly winds and afternoon highs in the low 70s. That nice stretch continues into Tuesday, though clouds will gradually increase and temperatures will stay seasonal, with highs still in the low 70s.
By midweek, we begin a steady warm-up. Highs climb into the mid 70s Wednesday, then close to 80 by Thursday and Friday with a mix of sun and clouds. Rain chances remain low through most of the workweek, but a few showers or thunderstorms could begin to show up late Thursday night into Friday. The better chance for scattered weekend rain arrives Saturday, when a few thunderstorms will also be possible.
Right now, severe weather and flooding concerns look low for the Metroplex, but the wetter pattern this weekend is worth watching.
