Tonight’s DFW Forecast

Clouds will hang tough across the Dallas-Fort Worth area tonight, with just a small chance of a passing shower early this evening. The bigger story is the chill settling in behind today’s front, with lows dropping into the lower 50s by morning and a brisk northeast wind still making it feel cooler at times.

Saturday stays on the cool side for late March. We’ll start mostly cloudy, then gradually see more sunshine by afternoon. Highs will only reach the low to mid 60s, so it’ll be a jacket-worthy day compared to the warmth we’ve had lately. Saturday night turns quiet and cool again.

By Sunday, the warm-up begins. Expect sunshine and highs back in the lower 80s, with even warmer afternoons Monday and Tuesday as temperatures climb into the mid 80s.

Our next rain chance arrives Tuesday night and lingers into Wednesday and Thursday. Right now, it looks like scattered showers and a few thunderstorms rather than an all-day washout, with another round of cooler air arriving by midweek.

Midweek won’t be a severe weather setup at this point, but keep an eye on off-and-on rain and a noticeable cooldown.
