Plenty of sunshine is in store for the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex today, and it’s going to feel more like early summer than early spring. Afternoon highs will climb into the lower 90s with a light southwest breeze around 5 to 10 mph. It’ll be a warm, dry day with no weather concerns.
Tonight stays clear and mild. Temperatures will fall back into the lower 60s with light south winds. If you have evening plans, conditions look great across North Texas.
Saturday brings more sunshine and another warm afternoon, with highs again reaching the lower 90s. Winds remain light out of the south around 5 to 10 mph. The warming trend continues into Sunday, when highs push into the mid 90s and winds pick up a bit, gusting 10 to 15 mph during the afternoon.
A weak cool-down arrives Monday with highs easing back into the 80s before we warm up again next week under mostly sunny skies.
Stay hydrated if you’re spending extended time outdoors this weekend, especially during the afternoon heat.
