A Tornado Watch remains in effect for the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex through 10 PM as showers and thunderstorms continue this evening. Some storms could be strong, with gusty winds and brief heavy downpours. Rain chances stay elevated overnight, and thunderstorms are likely after midnight. Lows will settle into the upper 50s to near 60 with winds easing toward morning.
Saturday brings widespread rain and storms, especially during the first half of the day. Expect a noticeable cool-down as a front moves through, with temperatures starting in the 70s and falling into the 60s by afternoon. Breezes will turn northerly, signaling drier air arriving by evening. A few lingering showers are possible Saturday night before skies gradually clear.
Sunday looks much quieter with sunshine returning and highs in the low 70s. Early next week turns unsettled again, with multiple chances for showers and thunderstorms Tuesday and Wednesday. Some locally heavy rainfall may develop midweek before cooler, drier air arrives late Thursday into Friday.
Tonight’s storms could produce strong winds and heavy rain. Stay weather-aware through the evening hours.
