Tonight’s DFW Forecast

Pleasant and mild conditions continue tonight across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Expect a partly cloudy sky with lows settling into the lower 60s and a light south breeze.

Tuesday turns warmer and breezy. Morning clouds will give way to more sunshine by afternoon, pushing highs into the mid 80s. South winds will increase to 15 to 20 mph at times, adding a noticeable spring feel to the air. Tuesday night stays mild in the mid 60s with increasing clouds.

Rain chances return Wednesday as a more unsettled pattern develops. A few showers or storms could pop up late morning, with better coverage during the afternoon and evening. Highs will hold near 80. Storm chances continue Wednesday night and linger at times through Thursday and Friday.

The wettest period appears to set up late Friday into Saturday, when widespread showers and thunderstorms become likely. Locally heavy rain is possible, especially by Saturday. Temperatures trend cooler this weekend, with highs dropping into the 70s and near 70 by Sunday.

Keep the umbrella handy from midweek on, and plan for occasional downpours by the weekend.
