North Texas is getting a taste of spring today. Expect mostly sunny skies across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex with afternoon highs climbing into the lower to mid 80s. A steady south breeze around 10 to 15 mph will add a little warmth to the air, especially during the late morning and early afternoon.
Tonight stays quiet and mild. Skies will be mostly clear to partly cloudy with temperatures settling into the mid 50s by early Thursday morning. Winds ease and shift more northeasterly overnight.
Tomorrow looks just as pleasant. Sunshine returns with highs near 80 degrees, though a light northeast wind will take a bit of the edge off the warmth compared to today. The overall pattern stays dry and calm through the end of the workweek, with cool mornings in the upper 40s and 50s and warm afternoons near 80.
Rain chances remain very low until late in the weekend, and even then only spotty showers are expected.
