After a beautiful afternoon across North Texas, tonight stays quiet and mild. Skies will be mostly clear early, with a few clouds drifting in overnight. Temperatures only fall into the mid 50s around Dallas–Fort Worth, so it’s not quite as cool as recent nights. A light south breeze continues.
Tuesday brings even warmer weather. We’ll see a mix of sun and clouds in the morning, then mostly sunny skies by afternoon. Highs climb into the mid to upper 70s across the Metroplex, with some 80-degree readings west of Fort Worth. South winds will pick up, gusting 15 to 20 mph at times, so it will feel breezy and spring-like.
Wednesday and Thursday stay very warm, with highs pushing the upper 70s to near 80 under partly sunny skies. A late-week cooldown arrives Thursday night into Friday, dropping highs back into the 60s. A slight chance of showers returns Saturday, but widespread rain is not expected right now.
Enjoy the warm stretch, but keep in mind cooler air returns by the end of the week.
