Get ready for a spooky-good Friday. This afternoon promises picture-perfect weather across the region with plenty of sunshine, comfortable highs in the 70s, and light breezes out of the south. Whether you’re carving pumpkins, setting up decorations, or heading out to trick or treat, conditions couldn’t be better.

Trick-or-treating forecast (6 PM – 9 PM): Ideal for little goblins and ghouls!

Temperatures will ease from the low 70s at sunset down to the upper 50s by 9 PM—cool enough for a light jacket or hoodie, but not overly chilly.
Skies stay mostly clear with just a few high, thin clouds drifting through.
Winds remain light (5–10 mph), so no worries about costumes getting blown away or candy bags taking flight.

Saturday: A weak cold front arrives early Saturday, bringing a slight chance (20%) of a few brief, light showers—mainly north and east of DFW between 8 AM and 2 PM. Most spots will stay dry, and any rain will be light and scattered (less than 0.10″).
