From William Cole: A Flash Flood Warning has been issued in the Weather Tracker TV DFW coverage area for Ellis & Navarro Counties in North Texas until 2:00 PM.

At 1208 PM , emergency management reported numerous flooded roads along the Navarro and Ellis County border. Radar estimates between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen across northern Navarro and southern Ellis County today. Flash flooding is expected to continue for the next couple of hours before receding.

Remember if you see water across a roadway do not drive through it. Turn Around Don’t Drown.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect for a good part of North Texas through Noon. A Tornado Watch is in effect for our far southeastern counties until 3PM. A shield of heavy rain and thunder continues to push east across the area. Locally heavy rain and isolated areas of flash flooding remain possible.

At 1028 AM , Live Radar was tracking strong T-Storms along a line extending from near West to near Lorena. Movement was east at 35 mph.

Wind Gusts Up To 50 Mph And Penny Size Hail. Gusty Winds Could Knock Down Tree Limbs And Blow Around Unsecured Objects. Minor Damage To Outdoor Objects Is Possible.
