Severe Risk Thursday

The risk of severe weather returns to North Texas tomorrow (Thursday). Scattered showers develop before sunrise. Showers eventually strengthen into thunderstorms during the afternoon. A few of the storms in North Texas could become minimally severe with a quarter sized hail and wind gust to 60 MPH threat. Conditions down I-45 north of Houston will be more favorable for severe weather and even a few tornado warnings. If you’re traveling in that direction tomorrow – heads up.
