For the North Atlantic Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:Active Systems:The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on TropicalStorm Philippe, located several hundred miles east of the northernLeeward Islands.Central Tropical Atlantic (AL91):Showers and T-Storms continue to show signs of organizationin association with an area of low pressure located roughly halfwaybetween the Cabo Verde Islands and the Lesser Antilles.Environmental conditions are forecast to be conducive fordevelopment, as long as this system remains far enough removed fromTropical Storm Philippe to its west. A tropical depression or stormis expected to form later today or on Friday while the system movesnorthwestward across the central tropical Atlantic.
