We stay dry to close out the work week. Our next opportunity of rain returns this weekend with a few showers – mainly east of DFW. Then early next week a weather maker coming in from the west may bring a better chance of precipitation.

Here’s a rough look at where we saw some light snow accumulation – mainly on elevated surfaces – yesterday evening. Other locations like Dallas did receive snow flakes but there was no accumulation. Temperatures remained above freezing so any snow accumulation quickly melted.

It was a cold start to the morning with actual lows a mix of 30s across North Texas.
