A few showers and T-Storms are developing in our northwestern counties near a summer cold front. Scattered T-Storms with brief heavy downpours, lighting and gusty wind will remain possible through the evening.

As our summer cold front begins to arrive in North Texas today. The chance of splash and dash T-Storms will be increasing. The better chance (30%) will be near the Red River Valley with a 20% chance in the Metroplex. There is a marginal risk of a severe storm or two. The only concern is when a storm weakens or collapses it could produce gusty downbursting winds of 60 mph+. Any severe weather would be very limited.
