This weeks updated Drought Monitor was just released. It continues to show significant drought in our southwestern counties with severe drought maintaining its hold in parts of the DFW Metroplex. The good news is we have increasing rain chances coming up – especially by early next week.

There is a slight chance of storms along and east of Highway 75 and Interstate 45 early this morning. Above-normal temperatures with near record heat will continue this afternoon.
