For the North Atlantic Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:Active Systems:The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on HurricaneIan, located inland over western Cuba.Central Tropical Atlantic:An area of low pressure located several hundred miles west of theCabo Verde Islands is producing disorganized showers andT-Storms. This activity has changed little in organization overthe last day or so, but environmental conditions are still expectedto be sufficiently conducive for the system to become a tropicaldepression during the next couple of days. Further development willbecome less likely by the end of the week due to increasingupper-level winds.
