North Texas weather remains unsettled this afternoon, with another round of rain and storms expected—this marking the third wave in the last 36 hours. Yesterday (Friday), the region saw significant rainfall, with radar estimates showing 2-5+ inches in many locations. Two tornado warnings were issued, plus a possible third; we’ll get an update from the National Weather Service today on any verifications.

The next batch of rain and storms arrives today but will largely be more scattered than Friday. Any activity this afternoon or evening could turn severe, with a risk of quarter-sized hail.
