For the North Atlantic Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:Active Systems:The National Hurricane Center has issued its last advisory onPost-Tropical Cyclone Tammy, located several hundred miles east ofBermuda.Southwestern Atlantic Ocean (AL96):Showers and T-Storms associated with an area of low pressurelocated a couple of hundred miles east of the southeastern Bahamascontinue to show signs of organization. A short-lived tropicaldepression or storm is likely to form later today or tonight whilethe system moves west-northwestward. By Tuesday, however, strongupper-level winds and dry air should end the chances of furtherdevelopment. An Air Force reconnaissance aircraft is scheduled toinvestigate the system later today.* Formation chance through 48 hours high 70 percent.* Formation chance through 7 days high 70 percent.Southwestern Caribbean Sea:A broad area of low pressure could form in a few days over thecentral or southwestern Caribbean Sea.
