For the North Atlantic Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:Northwestern Atlantic (Post-Tropical Cyclone Tammy):A strong extratropical cyclone (formerly Tammy) associated with anoccluded front is located a few hundred miles east of Bermuda.This low is forecast to become separated from the front soon, andconditions appear favorable for the system to redevelop into atropical storm later today or Saturday. Regardless of tropicalredevelopment, the system is likely to bring gusty winds to Bermudaduring the next day or so, and a gale warning is in effect forthe island. Interests on Bermuda should monitor the progress ofthis system.
