A tornado outbreak looks likely today from parts of Louisiana into Mississippi. If you have friends, family or loved ones over there – it wouldn’t hurt to call or text them and make sure they are weather alert this afternoon and evening. Severe weather will be possible after dark – including tornadoes – making the situation even more serious.
A windy cold front arrives this evening- winds may gusts 30 mph+ behind the front. The gusty winds will lag slightly behind the initial frontal passage. This won’t be a major cold front but will give us a reality check Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the 50s.
Morning clouds will giveaway to some afternoon sun. A warming southwest wind will put a bounce on our daytime high.
