The updated Drought Monitor was released this morning. It continues to show improvement across North Texas. The data is tabulated on Tuesday so for this week it only takes into account rain through Tuesday. A good soaking rain of 1″ – 3″ fell yesterday in our western and southwestern counites that are still highlighted in the severe drought criteria.
