North Texas received a generous drink of rain yesterday. Unfortunately, it came with a round of potent severe weather, but these rainfall totals will help ease the drought criteria some across the area. 1″ – 2″ were common with locally higher amounts up to 4″. Flash flood warnings were issued late last night for Dallas, Collin and Denton counties because of too much rain over a short amount of time.
