Good Wednesday morning, North Texas. It is a sharply cooler start to the day as we wake up to temperatures primarily in the 50s following yesterday\u2019s cold front.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mostly cloudy skies will persist through the afternoon with a steady north wind keeping things cool. High temperatures will struggle, stalling in the mid-60s to near 70\u00b0 – nearly 10 to 15 degrees below our seasonal norms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scattered showers remain possible through the afternoon. While the severe threat has diminished for much of North Texas, a few thunderstorms are still possible in our southern and eastern counties near the stalling frontal boundary. Any robust cell that develops in these areas could become severe, with quarter-sized hail and 60 mph wind gusts being the primary concerns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
