Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will become more likely after midnight, with temperatures only falling into the upper 60s. While the stronger severe threat looks to stay mainly west and northwest of the Metroplex, a few heavier downpours and lightning are still possible.<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow stays mostly cloudy with off-and-on showers and thunderstorms around the area, especially from late morning into the afternoon. Not everyone will see rain all day, but some neighborhoods could pick up brief heavy rainfall. Highs will stay a little cooler, mainly in the upper 70s to near 80.<\/p>\n<p>By Thursday, we dry out and warm up quickly with more sunshine and highs pushing into the mid to upper 80s. Friday remains warm, then another round of unsettled weather arrives late Friday night into Saturday with more showers and storms, followed by a noticeable cool-down.
